Frequently asked questions

Do I need to download anything?
No. Bumpo runs in your browser. Open the play link and you're in.
Do I need an account?
No traditional signup — you sign in through Telegram and pick a username. Match stats land on a public profile at bumpo.fun/p/<username>; flip it to private in settings if you'd rather.
How many players per room?
Up to eight playing, plus up to 22 spectators per room. If you have fewer than 8 players when the lobby timer expires, bots fill the empty slots so a match always starts.
Can I just watch?
Yes. v0.30 added spectator mode. Browse live public matches from the home screen or paste a private room code. Spectators can chat, free-pan the camera, and jump in if a player slot opens between rounds.
How do skills work?
Six skills (Dash, Slam, Hook, Spark, Brace, Quake) with four upgrade tiers each. You start with Dash unlocked. Earn skill points by levelling up; spend in the lobby to unlock or upgrade. Pick three to equip per match.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. Touch controls are supported on phones and tablets in any modern browser.
How do I play with friends?
Create a room, then share the invite link. Anyone with the link joins the same lobby.
Is it free?
Yes. No ads, no pay-to-win. Cosmetics are the only thing you can buy — Telegram Stars only — and most are earnable through achievements.
